Allison P., an RN at Tapestry 360 Health-Wilson, pronouns: she/her
Q1: What drew you to work at an Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)?
A1: "The patient population was the main push to work at an FQHC. I enjoy working with members of the community and providing care to underserved populations. Specifically working in the Uptown neighborhood located on the Northside of Chicago, allows for interaction with many different cultures and ethnic groups, which I greatly enjoy."
Q2: What inspires you in your work?
A2: "I have always loved connecting with others. Providing care to and showing up for others when they are at their most vulnerable state, is one of the reasons why I am a Registered Nurse. It is truly an honor. My patients’ strength inspires me every day."
Q3: What is your favorite part of your job?
A3: "As an RN and Board Certified Nurse Coach, I love having the opportunity to meet with individuals 1:1. I aim to provide a holistic approach in which each aspect of the individual's health is addressed. My favorite part of the job is meeting with patients and together determining how they can achieve their goals and experience lasting healing."
Teresa (Terry) S., LCPC, who is a Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) at Tapestry 360 Health-Wilson, pronouns: she/her
Q1: What inspires you in your work?
A1: "What inspires me in my work is being able to connect with patients through helping them identify their strengths, despite their struggles, and to be able to help patients recognize that they can make the changes they seek, and that their physical or mental or social problems do not define them."
Q2: What is your favorite part of your job?
A2: "My favorite part of my job is celebrating patient progress, no matter how small."
