Position Summary
1. Social Media Management:
o Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy.
o Create and publish engaging content across all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
o Monitor social media channels for trends and community engagement opportunities.
o Respond to comments and messages promptly and appropriately.
2. Content Creation:
o Design visually appealing graphics, videos, and other multimedia content for social media and marketing campaigns.
o Write compelling copy for social media posts, blogs, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
o Collaborate with the team to produce content that aligns with our mission and initiatives.
3. Marketing Campaigns:
o Plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote events, programs, and initiatives.
o Track and analyze campaign performance to optimize future efforts.
o Develop and manage email marketing campaigns, including newsletters and announcements.
4. Community Engagement:
o Build and maintain relationships with community partners, influencers, and media outlets.
o Coordinate and promote events such as cooking classes, juicing demonstrations, and Wellness Wednesdays.
o Represent Delaware Urban Greens at community events and networking opportunities.
5. Analytics and Reporting:
o Monitor and report on social media and marketing metrics.
o Use data to refine strategies and improve engagement and reach.
o Provide regular reports to the Executive Director on marketing and social media performance.

Knowledge Required for the Position
Knowledge of AmeriCorps/Health Corps member requirements
Supervision
Member uses initiative in carrying out recurring assignments following set procedures, independently, The supervisor assigns service activities, advises on changes in procedures, and is available for assistance when required, The supervisor assigns service activities in terms of project objectives and basic priorities and is available for consultation in resolving controversial issues.
Review
The service activities are reviewed for accuracy through spot checks, through complaints from customers, and through observation of the member at service.
