Where are you from?

I am moving up from Santa Barbara, but I grew up in Reno, Nevada!

Why did you decide to join NHC?

I decided to join NHC I want to learn and observe firsthand about fostering equitable and effective health outcomes. I greatly respect NHC’s mission of delivering health education and improving access for under-served communities, and I hope to enhance and apply my skills to help accomplish its goal.

What are you hoping to gain or learn during your service term?

I hope to observe healthcare delivery and existing interventions in action. I want to learn how to develop effective solutions to help patients feel confident and supported in their navigation of the health system and maximize access to services they need.

What are you most looking forward to during your service term?
I am most looking forward to learning from and collaborating with people from my host site and the San Francisco community!
