Why did you decide to join NHC?

I have a lived experience in lower income, historically under-served communities. With this insight, I hope to serve as a resource for my team. I would like to be a part of an effort to alleviate the burden of many young families and community members who live in often neglected communities.

What are you hoping to gain or learn during your service term?

I am hoping to strengthen my critical thinking, learn about myself in uncomfortable situations, and grow as a leader.

What are you most looking forward to during your service term?

I am most looking forward to the community members. Being part of their day to day is something I am humbled by the opportunity of. I love demonstrating to community members my passion of providing resources and ensuring a sustainable path forward. Most importantly, I look forward to building long-lasting friendships with our members.
