Why did you decide to join NHC?
As a mother and a lifelong advocate, joining the National Health Corps was a vital next step to unite my passions. It allows me to synthesize my understanding of healthcare systems with my expertise in community building, make a direct impact and expand my professional network.
What are you hoping to gain or learn during your time at NHC?
During my time with the National Health Corps, my primary goal is to fully apply my professional skills to support the mission of Black Mothers In Power, contributing meaningfully to their outreach, programming, and advocacy efforts.
What are you most looking forward to during your service term?
I aspire to continue building and leading ventures that empower communities, amplify underrepresented voices, and create lasting, positive change on a global scale.
