Why did you decide to join NHC?
I decided to join NHC after my graduation from Lackawanna College in Scranton, PA. This is great way for me to gain experience serving my community and helping my neighbors who do not speak English.
What are you hoping to learn during your service term?
My mother tongue is Gujarati and my official language is Hindi. I help clients who are from India but cannot speak English by translating and serving as a bridge to help them understand.
