I was born and raised in Yuba City, California.

 

Are you a Student? If so, where and what are you studying?:

I graduated from UC Davis with a bachelors degree in biological science.

 

Why did you decide to join NHC?:

I decided to join NHC because having lived in this city for all my life I wanted to give back and help make this community better for everyone and NHC always me to do this

 

What are you hoping to gain or learn during your service term?:

I hope to learn skills that will help me later in my career such as leadership development skills and ways how to lower health care disparities for underserved populations.

 

What are you most looking forward to during your service term?:

Looking forward to helping my community, meeting new people, building connections with community members and healthcare professionals, and service opportunities.
